Duncan coral, duncanopsammia axifuga, has large, fleshy polyps and looks a little bit like a zoanthid but it is a large polyp stony (LPS) coral. They are sometimes also called whisker coral or daisy coral.
Duncans have a calcified stony skeleton and therefore require relatively high concentrations of calcium, magnesium, and hardness, measured as dKH, to stay healthy.
Duncan corals are easy to keep in an aquarium. They are hardy and grow well in relatively lower light and water flow areas.
Add as many polyps as you want to each order.

Our systems
Each coral system is illuminated by 2x GHL Mitras lightbar 2 Model 100 and provided with a minimum flow of 30000 L/H from Tunze. Circulation is specially adapted to the specific corals kept in the system.
We perform regular ICP tests to keep minor and major elements under control.
If you have any questions about how we take care of our corals, please get in touch.
