Montipora capricornis is a hardy SPS coral.
It’s a good coral for SPS-beginners since it is hardy enough to tolerate relatively large changes in water parameters once it’s established.
Montipora capricornis has a unique growth pattern, it grows into plates forming a spiral going upwards.
It is solid red with red polyps.
It likes strong water movement and medium-strong lighting but will do with less if needed.
